This morning we lost power at about 4am. We had our first snow storm here in Iowa during the overnight hours and I think this one caught us all a little off guard. Our solar emergency backup power generator came on just like it was suppose to and kept things running. We had been having rain all day yesterday, and we knew that some snow was a possibility, but we didn’t expect this. The forecast was one of those iffy ones where things can go either way just depending on how the atmosphere shapes up.
